Q: What will the weather be like in Kansas City during the Expo?

A: October in Kansas City is characterized by pleasant temperatures and moderate rainfall. Throughout the daytime, temperatures often hover around 68°C. However, as the sun sets and evening approaches, there's a noticeable cool-down, with temperatures gently dropping to a more temperate 44°C. Please bring a light jacket or long sleeves for evenings. Layers are always best!

 

Q: How should I dress for the Expo? 

A: We suggest Business Casual for the Expo floor and for the awards dinner the theme is Great Gatsby so dress to impress however, please dress as you feel most comfortable. 

 

Q: Who will be the on site contact at the Expo?

A: Lora Maslowski and Bridget Hargraves will be the onsite contacts during the Expo and will be located right outside the main exhibit space. Q: Can I bring a partner or spouse to the functions?

A: We are not allowing anybody that has not officially registered for the Expo to attend the Expo or Expo related events.

 

Q: Does the Kansas City Marriott Downtown offer transportation to and from the airport?

A: No, but UBER and LYFT operate in Kansas City. It is about a 30 minute car ride from Kansas City International Airport to the hotel downtown. Otherwise Kansas City International airport has rental cars available which you can book in advance but please note the Hotel Valet parking fee is $42.00 USD daily and the On-site parking fee is $32.00 USD daily.

 

Q: Are meals included and if so which ones?

A: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Receptions, Awards Dinner, and After Party will be included in the Expo fees. Please see agenda for times and locations. 

 

Q: Is there a way I can print out copies, labels, or ship items?

A: The hotel does have a printing and shipping location available for guests. All services will need to be covered by a room charge or out of pocket. 

 

Q: Who from Aramark attends?

A: The majority of Aramark attendees are Retail Buyers/Managers and Food & Beverage Managers/Chefs. Executive Leadership along with Senior Leadership are always in attendance and supporting the Retail and Food & Beverage departments. We are thrilled to have added 15 Aramark Sports Buyers along with several Buyers from Collegiate Hospitality

 

Q: Where do I get my badge?

A: Badge printing and pick up will begin Monday, September 30th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm and continue Tuesday, October 1st 8:00am – 12:00pm

 

Q: Can I invite other Aramark employees?

A: All Expo attendees must be approved. Please reach out to Lora at maslowski-lora@aramark.com with the employees name, title, location, and reason why they are needed at the Expo.

 

Q: How many vendors will be participating at this years' expo? 

A: We are expecting around 85 Retail, Sports, and Food & Beverage vendors combined.
